That which was dead, will rise again! :)

You guessed it!! It's SPRING!

Don't you just love the end of spring semester? It's the time of year when all that was dead during the winter; trees, flowers, bugs and even the some people (I wish I could hibernate all winter...) seem to come back to life.

Spring time is wonderful!! ...unless you have allergies or suffer from the Spring-Semester-Cold. Come now. All you college/university students know what I'm talking about. You've either got, had or know someone who has it. It's just lovely. (Not!) It makes you just sick enough that you don't want to get out of bed, but well enough that you still have to function in society. While I'm grateful that I'm not missing classes or work, I kind wish it'd just knock me out for a week and be done with it.

Oh well... enjoy the annual celebration of the flowers blooming and snow saying hasta luego for another seven-ish months (aka the Spring Semester Cold), and keep in mind that life is only lived once; so live it up, love it lots and wear it out!

24: The Answer to all of Life's Questions

Well, in honor of today being the 24th day of March (and since we all know 24 is the answer to all life's questions: How many scoops of ice cream should I get? 24. How many hours are in a day? 24. What is the best looking age? 24... pay no mind that I'm not yet 24 - I'm looking forward to it okay! What is the perfect number of nieces and nephews to have? 24.) I figured that alone was a good enough reason to blog. :)

The best (new) things come to those who wait.

After living in Mapleton for 17 years, (Wow! Can you believe it's really been that long?!?) we finally got new carpet. After two, and now going on three days of moving stuff from one room to another so that certain rooms could be done on different days, that project is finally coming to a close! Everything looks wonderful!

After about a half hour of relentless giggling (from being totally exhausted, and it being bed time), I finally made my way down to hit the hay. With one of my brothers laying across my legs, using my computer, and me trying to get comfortable enough to get a few pages read in one of my TWELVE books for school the phone rang. At first I thought it was a text, but then it kept going. To my surprise it was my brother and sister-in-law!

I answered and we had a few pleasantries, then I got down to why he was calling. He told me that he and his family were planning on coming to Utah the following day (today). I was ecstatic! It's been since Christmas and I am ready to see them all again. I'm so excited for 6:00ish to get here! I love when all of my family is in the same state!!
